Das wird in dem neuen Film J. Edgar <\/em>auf den Tisch gelegt. Leonardo DiCaprio war wohl die beste Wahl Clint Eastwoods f\u00fcr diese Rolle.<\/p>\n

J. Edgar war Zeugen zufolge ein herzloser, arroganter, selbsts\u00fcchtiger, bestechbarer Mann, der Amerika meistens als sein Land bezeichnete. Hoover hat auch oft seinen Posten missbraucht und hat im Sinne des Rechtes auch mehrere Regeln gebrochen. Von ihm wurde auch die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Massenverhaftung in der Geschichte der USA angef\u00fchrt. Rund 10.000 angebliche Mitglieder und Sympathisanten der kommunistischen Partei der USA wurden im Zuge der “Palmer Raids” im Januar 1920 festgenommen. Das war nur ein kleiner Ausschnitt der umstrittenen Methoden Hoovers.<\/p>\n

In dem Film J. Edgar <\/em>wird der Protagonist Hoover n\u00e4her gezeigt, von seinem 20. Lebensjahr bis zu seinem Tod. Man erf\u00e4hrt mehr \u00fcber den Hintergrund des FBI. Doch auch Dinge, die manche vielleicht nicht so genau wissen wollten, kommen heraus, zum Beispiel dass die meisten Verdienste Hoovers nicht seine eigenen waren.<\/p>\n

Der Film J. Edgar<\/em> ist sehr interessant und wen die Geschichte Amerikas interessiert (oder die vom Beginn der Polizeiarbeiten in der heutigen Form), f\u00fcr den ist er nur bestens zu empfehlen.<\/p>\n
